In the video, Mufti Qavi suggests that relations between Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan are deteriorating, adding that if separation takes place, “Aishwarya Rai will message me for marriage.”
When questioned by the host about marrying a non-Muslim woman, Mufti Qavi cited Rakhi Sawant’s public conversion claims and said he would first convert Aishwarya Rai to Islam and give her the name “Ayesha Rai.”
This is not Mufti Qavi’s first such statement. He earlier proposed marriage to Rakhi Sawant, who responded that “tolerating Mufti Qavi is not easy” and that he is “a very different person.”
His latest remarks have once again ignited criticism and humour online, with social media users questioning the cleric’s repeated sensational claims.
