LAHORE, November 24, 2025: Following the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, DG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, organized an open court at his office to hear complaints from citizens in detail and issued on-the-spot instructions for their resolution.

A large number of overseas Pakistanis also attended the open court. Complaints included investigations of cases such as the murders of Asar Muhammad and Haroon Arshad, and other cases including Sameena Babar, Zarar, Saheb Romi, Muhammad Aslam, and Aini Rajan’s check dishonor cases. Citizens also brought up complaints regarding theft, robbery, and other criminal investigations.
The DG personally listened to each complaint and directed the office in-charge of inquiry (IRC) to immediately investigate certain cases. Some cases were referred to the Change Investigation Board due to incomplete investigations, while investigation officers received show-cause notices.
Divisional SPs Investigation were instructed to address certain complaints immediately, and DG Zeeshan Raza personally contacted them to issue directives regarding the concerned cases.
“The immediate resolution of public complaints regarding investigations is our priority. Protecting the life and property of citizens remains our foremost duty,” the DG said.
He further emphasized that officers should maintain courteous behavior with citizens and continually improve their performance. “The doors of my office remain open at all times for the public,” DG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza added.
