LAHORE, November 19, 2025 — Lahore police recovered an eight-year-old boy within hours after he was abducted from outside his home, handing him back safely to his parents following a swift and focused operation.

According to police, the child, Haseeb, was taken away by a man who lifted him onto a motorcycle and fled. As soon as the incident was reported, SSP Investigation Lahore Muhammad Naveed took notice and assigned an urgent recovery task to the Baghbanpura Investigation team.
Inspector Muhammad Alam Langrial, In-charge Investigation Baghbanpura, led the operation that relied heavily on the analysis of CCTV footage from nearby streets and markets. The team traced the motorcycle’s movement and managed to recover the child safely within a few hours.
The boy’s family expressed deep gratitude to the Investigation Wing for its immediate and effective response.
DIG Investigation Lahore Syed Zeeshan Raza praised the team’s performance, saying the police remain committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens. He also announced commendation certificates for the officers involved in the successful recovery.
The timely action of the Lahore police prevented a potential tragedy, earning appreciation from the community.
