LAHORE: The annual Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Conference was held in Chiniot, attended by key political and religious leaders, including Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, Adviser to the Prime Minister Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan, Provincial Minister for Law Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Members of the Provincial Assembly Rana Muhammad Arshad, Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Chinioti, and other distinguished personalities.

Addressing the gathering, Adviser to the Prime Minister Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan said that the belief in the Finality of Prophethood is central to the faith of every Muslim. He stated that the State of Pakistan has always played—and will continue to play—its full role at every forum for the protection of this fundamental doctrine.
He paid tribute to the religious traditions and scholarly contributions of the people of Chiniot.
Provincial Minister for Law Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, in his address, stated that the Punjab Government is ensuring religious harmony, tolerance, and protection of beliefs in accordance with the Constitution of Pakistan. He emphasized that the issue of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat is a fundamental pillar of the Muslim faith, and all institutions remain united in providing constitutional and legal safeguards for it. He highlighted that the 1973 constitutional amendment is a shining chapter in Pakistan’s parliamentary history, giving unequivocal constitutional protection to this doctrine and leaving no room for deviation.
Rana Iqbal assured the audience that the government stands firmly with the people, saying that the love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) resides in their hearts just as it does in the hearts of all Muslims.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, in his remarks, stated that the belief in the Finality of Prophethood is not a temporary discourse but the foundational basis of faith. He said that Allah Almighty has perfected the religion of Islam, leaving no room for false claims of prophethood.
The Speaker praised the lifelong efforts of the late Maulana Manzoor Ahmad Chinioti, who defended this doctrine through reason, law, and constitutional means—an enduring example of parliamentary strength and constitutional protection. He prayed for the elevation of Maulana Chinioti’s ranks and said that his mission lives on through Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Chinioti, who continues to represent the cause effectively in the Assembly.
A large number of scholars, community elders, parliamentarians, and citizens attended the conference. Participants highly appreciated the speeches of the speakers and reaffirmed their commitment to unity and solidarity for the protection of the doctrine of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat (PBUH).
