CM’s advisor on Zakat & Ushr visits Sundas Foundation, praises medical services for thalassemia patients

LAHORE — Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab for Zakat & Ushr, Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah, visited Sundas Foundation Lahore, where he met children suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia and other hereditary blood disorders.
He encouraged the young patients, distributed gifts among them, and reviewed the healthcare facilities available at the foundation.
The Sundas Foundation administration warmly received the advisor. Medical Director Dr. Sanaan Gillani briefed him on the state-of-the-art treatment system, advanced medical equipment, efficient blood management, genetic screening facilities and ongoing research initiatives. He said the foundation provides free blood and world-class medical services to thousands of patients every month and continues to play a vital role in diagnosis, treatment and public awareness regarding hereditary blood diseases in Pakistan.

Speaking to the media, Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah praised the services of the foundation, stating that “Sundas Foundation is truly a beacon of humanity. The high-quality medical care, exemplary child-care environment and modern treatment facilities here are commendable. This institution is not only a ray of hope but also a reflection of our society’s collective responsibility.” He assured the foundation of full government support.
He added that organizations like Sundas Foundation embody dedication, compassion and professional excellence in Pakistan’s healthcare sector, serving as a lifeline for thousands of families.
The advisor also revealed that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz holds the foundation in high regard and will soon visit Sundas Foundation to meet the children personally.
