LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid a rich tribute to the sportsmanship of Sri Lankan cricket team while congratulating Pakistan on winning ODI series against Sri Lanka. She said,”Visiting team’s passion for cricket is commendable.” She added,”Terrorism lost, sports and peace won.”

She underscored that peace must win, as the conspiracies of terrorists will always fail. She noted that Pakistan team entertained fans by presenting a brilliant game in the ODI cricket series. She highlighted that praise for Babar Azam’s brilliant century is too little, and prayed that Team Pakistan continue its winning streak in future.
