ISLAMABAD, November 13, 2025:First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari met Dublin City Councillor Ammar Ali here today, during which the two discussed ways to strengthen democracy, uphold shared values, and foster closer relations between Pakistan and Ireland.

Councillor Ammar Ali expressed deep admiration for the leadership and legacy of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s founders, including Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He also shared insights from his research on Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s contributions to democracy and social justice.
The First Lady extended her best wishes to Councillor Ali for his upcoming election as Dublin’s Deputy Mayor, expressing confidence that his dedication to public service would further strengthen democratic engagement. She encouraged him to continue inspiring young Pakistanis by sharing his experiences in democratic participation and civic responsibility.
