Mahira Khan has often expressed her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, never shying away from celebrating her fondness for the Bollywood icon. On SRK’s 60th birthday, the Pakistani star once again showcased her affection by dedicating a heartfelt Instagram Story in his honour.
Meanwhile, Bollywood’s King, Shah Rukh Khan, revealed why he couldn’t greet fans in his usual manner this year.
Sharing a post on X, SRK explained that authorities had advised him against stepping outside to meet the large crowd gathered in front of his home, Mannat, for safety reasons.
“I sincerely apologize to all of you,” he wrote. “This decision was made for everyone’s safety. Believe me, not meeting you hurts me even more — I truly wanted to see you because I love you all so much.”
Thousands of fans had assembled outside Mannat to celebrate the actor’s milestone birthday, but due to security concerns, he was unable to greet them from his balcony as per tradition.
