NANKANA SAHIB: Deputy Registrar Federal Ombudsman Faisalabad Zone, Yasir Shabbir Malik, heard public complaints and provided relief to 44 petitioners during an Open Court (OCR) session held in the office of SE LESCO Nankana Sahib.

According to details, the session was organized under the directions of Federal Ombudsman Ijaz Ahmed Qureshi to address grievances related to various federal departments at the local level.
During the session, 44 complaints were heard pertaining to LESCO, NADRA, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Passport, and Sui Gas departments, among others. Officers and representatives of the respective departments were present and submitted their responses regarding each complaint.
The Deputy Registrar issued necessary directions on the spot and ensured that relief was provided to all petitioners. New complaints were also registered during the hearing, and responses were sought from the concerned departments.
Yasir Shabbir Malik said that the objective of holding OCR sessions is to bring the Federal Ombudsman’s services closer to the people and provide prompt and free relief to citizens. He added that any individual can file a complaint with the Federal Ombudsman’s office without any fee, and every effort is made to resolve their issues swiftly and fairly.
