The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that the national cricket team will don pink jerseys during the first T20 match against South Africa on October 28 in Rawalpindi as part of the “PINKtober” breast cancer awareness campaign. Umpires, commentators, and support staff will also wear pink ribbons to show solidarity with the cause.
PCB CEO Sameer Ahmed Syed said the board is proud to use cricket’s influence to spread social awareness, noting that early detection of breast cancer can save many lives.

Pink branding will be displayed on the stumps, while awareness messages will appear around the stadium.
This marks the first time PCB has incorporated a breast cancer awareness campaign into an international fixture. Previously, “Pink Day” events were limited to the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The remaining T20 matches will take place in Lahore on October 31 and November 1, followed by a three-match ODI series in Faisalabad from November 4 to 8.
