LAHORE, October 20, 2025: The Directorate of Faculty Development and Internationalization (DFDI) at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) successfully concluded a four-week training program aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of faculty members.

A certificate distribution ceremony was held where Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi awarded certificates to teaching and non-teaching faculty from LCWU and its affiliated colleges. The participants completed the training held from August 20 to September 10, 2025, covering diverse modules including Teacher Professionalism, Technology-Assisted Learning, Revisualizing Leadership, Authentic Assessment, AI Applications for Education, and Character Modelling.
Participants shared their reflections on the experience, emphasizing how the training had enriched their teaching practices and leadership perspectives.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the DFDI team—Prof. Dr. Zohra Nazir Kayani, Dr. Afifa Khanam, and Dr. Tahira Kalsoom—for organizing impactful professional development opportunities. She encouraged them to pursue international collaborations in research and training to further strengthen LCWU’s academic excellence.
