LAHORE, Oct 16: Lahore Police have arrested 25,799 proclaimed offenders and 9,360 target offenders during the current year.

This was stated by Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana in a statement issued here on Thursday. He added that indiscriminate operations against criminal elements were continuing across the city.
“The large number of arrests reflects the effectiveness of the police’s strategic planning,” the CCPO said, adding that these arrests will help in the disposal of pending cases.
He directed further acceleration of operations to apprehend proclaimed offenders wanted in serious cases. He noted that modern tools including Hotel Eye, Travel Eye and Tenants Registration apps have assisted in tracing and arresting proclaimed offenders.
The Lahore Police have employed both human intelligence and modern technology to track criminals, while also maintaining vigilance over social media platforms to identify and apprehend suspects, he coconcluded.head line
