LAHORE, October 9, 2025 — A major burglary case in Lahore’s upscale Ghalib Market area reached its dramatic conclusion after police, acting on the special directives of DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza, arrested the prime suspect — none other than the family’s domestic worker.

According to police officials, the suspect had stolen jewelry worth over Rs 9 million (25 tolas of gold) from the house while the family was away, breaking the locks and fleeing with the valuables.
Following the incident, DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza assigned a special task to the investigation team, leading to swift action by Incharge Investigation Ghalib Market Nasir Amin and his team. With the assistance of CCTV footage and professional expertise, the police successfully traced and arrested the culprit, recovering the stolen items.
SP Investigation Model Town Dr. Ayaz Hussain praised the team’s use of modern techniques and analytical follow-up that led to the recovery of the valuables.
DIG Zeeshan Raza stated that the accused would face strict legal action and that a strong challan is being prepared to ensure exemplary punishment. He reaffirmed the Lahore Investigation Police’s commitment to continue operations against criminal elements across the city.
In recognition of the team’s outstanding performance, SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed announced commendation certificates for the officers involved in the successful operation.
