LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana reaffirmed a firm policy of zero tolerance towards corruption, stating that any officer found involved in highhandedness or abuse of authority will face strict departmental action.

He made these remarks while chairing a performance review meeting of the City and Cantonment Divisions at the Capital City Police Headquarters.
During his address, the CCPO urged police officers to take concrete and coordinated measures to eliminate social crimes and adopt an effective strategy to curb incidents of burglary, robbery, motorcycle theft and street snatching.
He stressed strict legal action against activities such as one-wheeling, aerial firing and kite flying and instructed that all wanted and absconding criminals be brought to justice at the earliest.
Speaking about the Investigation Wing, CCPO Lahore emphasized the timely submission of case challans to courts and the reduction of pending cases. He also underlined the importance of improving the overall quality of investigations and delivering timely justice to the public.
“Officers must ensure complainants are not made to wait unnecessarily at police stations. In case of unavoidable official commitments, they should be informed in advance,” the CCPO added.
The meeting was attended by DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed, SPs, ASPs, Circle Officers, SHOs and Investigation In-charges of City and Cantt Divisions.
