
LAHORE: (Commerce Report) — The business community of Shah Alam Market and various sectors of trade and industry have extended warm congratulations to Khurram Lodhi on being elected as the Vice President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).

Traders, industrialists, and representatives of market associations including former VP Harris Attiq, former VP Mian Zahid, former EC Asif Saher and others visited Khurram Lodhi to greet him and expressed confidence that his victory marks a new chapter of progress and representation for small and medium-sized traders in the chamber. They praised him as a practical businessman and a bridge between traditional markets and modern trade practices.
In his remarks, Khurram Lodhi thanked the Shah Alam Market community and all supporters across Lahore for their trust. He vowed to work for the revival of traditional markets, digitalization of trade, and better coordination between LCCI and local traders’ associations.
He emphasized that under the leadership of LCCI President Faheem-ur-Rehman Saighol and SVP Sheikh Tanveer, the chamber would strive to create an enabling environment for business growth, address taxation and customs-related issues, and promote entrepreneurial innovation.
Khurram Lodhi said he would focus on empowering young entrepreneurs and market-based SMEs through training and facilitation programs, ensuring that every segment of the business community benefits from LCCI’s initiatives.
