LAHORE, October 3, 2025: Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs, Mr. Ramesh Singh Arora, met with the second batch of CSS aspirants under the National Outreach Programme (NOP) at the Civil Services Academy, Walton, ahead of their passing-out. On the occasion, the students briefed the Minister about their training activities and shared their experiences during the programme.

The aspirants stated that the programme had not only polished their academic abilities but also enhanced their personal and professional development. Their training covered multiple dimensions including: paper attempting skills, subject selection and high-scoring techniques; teaching and evaluation sessions in core subjects such as Precis & Essay, Current Affairs, and Pakistan Affairs; confidence-building, dressing sense and fine dining etiquette; interactive morning and evening tuition sessions with probationary officers of the 53rd CTP with a special focus on optional subjects; field visits to old and new Lahore for practical exposure to public value and governance; mentor–mentee linkages with probationary officers of the 52nd CTP and aspirants of the first cohort for sustained guidance; and provision of modern residential facilities including air-conditioned rooms, messing, sports, gym, and laundry services.
Minister Ramesh Singh Arora praised the hard work and dedication of the aspirants, stating that the National Outreach Programme for minorities is a landmark initiative that provides equal opportunities to minority youth in the highly competitive field of civil services. I am confident that these young aspirants will perform exceptionally in the future and bring pride to the nation. He also extended his best wishes to all the candidates for their upcoming examinations and professional careers, assuring them that the Government of Punjab would continue to support such programmes to ensure that all communities have equal opportunities to serve the nation. Director capacity building Dr Syed Shabbir Akbar Zaidi, Director admin and Finance Bilal Akram, faculty members and representatives of administration were also present on the occasion.
