LAHORE: 42-member delegation of under-training DSPs from Sindh Police visited the Investigation Headquarters in Lahore today, where they were given a detailed briefing on modern policing and advanced investigation techniques. The delegation was led by Course Commander SSP Jawad Ishaq.

The officers were welcomed by SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed, who represented DIG Investigation Lahore Syed Zeeshan Raza. Senior officers, including SP CRO Rana Zahid, also joined in giving presentations to the visiting delegation.

The trainee officers were briefed on the working of the Crime Scene Unit, geo-fencing technology, CDR analysis, and crime mapping systems. They were also introduced to fingerprint technology, sketch making, and the Police Record Management System, which forms the backbone of digital investigation.
DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza highlighted the importance of professional training, dedication, and public service in policing. He advised the young officers to make professionalism and service to humanity their guiding principles throughout their careers.
The delegation praised the professionalism, modern training, and state-of-the-art investigation practices of Lahore Police, describing the visit as a valuable learning experience.
