LAHORE: Three-day commemorations of the death anniversary of the great spiritual leader of the Sikh community, Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji, concluded with devotion and reverence at Kartarpur Sahib. More than three thousand pilgrims from across Pakistan and abroad paid homage at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, performed religious rituals, and visited sacred sites associated with Baba Guru Nanak Ji.

On the second day of the commemorations, pilgrims held a Nagar Kirtan procession with a flower-decorated central float that drew special attention. On the final day, the yatrees participated in collective prayers, kirtan, and concluding rituals before returning to their respective destinations.
During the closing ceremony, Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs and President of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC), Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, joined the Sikh community in a plantation drive and planted a sapling as a symbol of life and peace.
Addressing the gathering, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said that the land of Pakistan embodies the message of peace and teachings of Baba Guru Nanak Ji.
Kartarpur Sahib is a spiritual center for Sikhs across the globe, where devotees come with open hearts to offer their prayers. Baba Ji’s timeless message of humanity, peace, brotherhood, and respect for all continues to guide us even today.
The Government of Pakistan remains fully committed to ensuring religious freedom for all minorities. He further added that Darbar Sahib Kartarpur stands as a symbol of peace and harmony, where pilgrims from around the world not only experience religious freedom but also witness a true reflection of interfaith harmony. members of PSGPC, Head Granthi and large numbers of Sikh community were also present on the occasion.
