The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) has announced that the second solar eclipse of 2025 will occur during the night of September 21 and 22.
Unfortunately, this celestial spectacle will not be visible anywhere in Pakistan, disappointing local skywatchers eager to witness the event.

According to SUPARCO, the eclipse is scheduled to begin at 10:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time on September 21. It will reach its maximum coverage at 12:42am on September 22 and conclude by 2:55am. While Pakistan will miss this astronomical event, it will be observable in several other parts of the world.
SUPARCO noted that the solar eclipse will be visible in regions such as parts of the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, Antarctica, and select areas in Australia.
This marks the second solar eclipse of the year, following the first, which was also not visible from Pakistan. Astronomy enthusiasts in the country will have to rely on global broadcasts or online streams to experience this natural phenomenon, as the moon’s shadow graces other parts of the globe.
