Lahore/Mumbai – Pakistan’s iconic qawali “Bol Kaffara”, originally the OST of Parlour Wali Larki, has once again been lifted by Bollywood. The song, which became a household hit in Pakistan, has been remade multiple times in India without credit.
After Jubin Nautiyal’s earlier copy, now Neha Kakkar has recorded the track for the upcoming film Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa.

The move triggered a wave of backlash on social media, where fans mocked Bollywood’s repeated “borrowing” from Pakistani music.
One user wrote: “You misbehave with Pakistan but keep stealing their songs.”
Another quipped: “Sonam Bajwa is singing this from IAF to PAF.”
A third comment summed it up bluntly: “Bollywood can only copy.”
This is not the first time Bollywood has come under fire for lifting Pakistani tracks. But this latest controversy has reignited debate over India’s reliance on Pakistani music despite political hostility.
