Indian women’s cricket team player Jemimah Rodrigues recently recounted a fascinating episode featuring Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Smriti Mandhana, and herself.
During an interview, she disclosed that after an extended session at a New Zealand cafe, the staff requested Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Smriti Mandhana, and her to exit the premises.

She described the gathering as an impromptu get-together that occurred at a cafe within the hotel hosting both the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams.
Jemimah and Smriti had intended to consult Virat Kohli for batting tips, and Anushka Sharma joined them, leading them to lose track of time during their stay.
Jemimah noted, “The initial 30 minutes focused on cricket, and Virat bhai praised us, saying both of you have performed outstandingly over the years.”
She further explained that what was meant to be a brief 15 to 20-minute casual discussion stretched to nearly four hours, veering into topics beyond cricket, until the cafe staff intervened, asking them to leave due to the late hour.
The Indian cricketer mentioned that they were so absorbed in their dialogue that they failed to notice the time, resulting in their ejection from the cafe.
