Famous comedian-singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has declared his intention to take legal action against a UK restaurant that released a video of an egg attack on him.
The footage was shared on social media three months after the incident occurred.

In an Instagram video, Khan disclosed that the UK restaurant posted footage online depicting two individuals assaulting him with eggs in June, despite previously assuring him that no such recording existed when he sought it.
The singer explained that the event took place on June 19 outside the Pakistani eatery ‘Paratha Stop Palace’ in Blackburn, UK, as he was exiting following a performance. He noted that the restaurant’s security staff had requested photos with him, and it was during this moment that the unexpected attack unfolded.
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan detailed that the restaurant owners, Iram and Faiz, had invited him to perform. After the event, the staff organized group photos, and while leaving, the security team asked for additional pictures. Suddenly, masked individuals emerged and bombarded him with eggs. He described how two attackers struck him with eggs, leaving him ill for four days.
After recovering, he contacted the restaurant management to request CCTV footage, but they claimed there were no cameras outside. Shockingly, three months later, the same restaurant uploaded the video to its Instagram account.
“This calls for a lawsuit against the restaurant for lying and misleading me,” the singer stated.
