LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs / President PSGPC Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, signed an agreement between PSGPC and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for the development of PSGPC’s official website gateway. On this occasion, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora directed the PITB team to prepare a roadmap within seven to ten days for the launch of the website, as the new gateway will play a vital role in providing digital access, transparency, and better facilitation to Sikh pilgrims and stakeholders worldwide.

He said that the Sikh community across the world, especially those residing in the UK, Canada, and the USA, maintain a deep connection with Pakistan and transfer funds to support basic facilities in gurdwaras. With the availability of this online platform, many complications will be avoided. He further stated that this website will also facilitate the transfer of flood relief donations from across the globe, while simplifying the process of sending funds for the construction, renovation, and religious services of gurdwaras. Moreover, it will significantly enhance online membership opportunities for the Sikh community worldwide.
Representatives of PITB assured their full cooperation, stating that steps are being taken to promote digital governance and to equip public institutions with modern IT facilities. They emphasized that this website will help ensure transparency and swift transfer of funds.
PITB Chief Financial Officer Nadia Riaz, Director Youth Development & Procurement Atta ur Rehman, Head of Business Development Ijlal Hussain, Program Officer Bazila Yasmin, Consultant Syed Imran Sajjad, and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.
