SHEIKHUPURA: Commissioner Lahore Division Marryam Khan’s visits to flood relief camps to review relief activities and facilities for flood victims are ongoing. Commissioner Lahore Marryam Khan, along with RPO Sheikhupura Range Athar Ismail, visited the flood relief camp Narang Mandi. Commissioner Lahore reviewed the availability and provision of facilities at the relief camp in Mandali Narang Mandi town. DC Sheikhupura Shahid Imran Marth gave a detailed briefing on the flood situation and relief activities. Commissioner Lahore met with people residing in the relief camp. Distributed rations among the people and food to the children.
Commissioner Lahore Maryam Khan has said that the district administration is present in the field day and night. She said that the quality of cleanliness and clean drinking water in the relief camp is excellent, and medicines for water-borne and other diseases are also available in relief camp.
Commissioner Lahore said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the protection of the lives and property of the flood victims is being ensured. All the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab are being implemented and all departments are engaged in relief activities.
Commissioner Lahore further said that on the instructions of the Punjab government, the district administration is working around the clock to provide relief to the victims and all possible assistance is being provided.
