LAHORE (Monitoring Desk) – Celebrated stage, television, and film actor Anwar Ali passed away on Monday at the age of 65 after battling multiple health complications.

According to family sources, the veteran performer had long been suffering from lung and kidney problems, along with heart disease and paralysis. His health declined sharply in recent weeks, leading to his admission to a private hospital in Lahore, where he breathed his last.
His son confirmed that Anwar Ali had been unwell for months, saying the family grew increasingly worried as his condition deteriorated in recent days.
Anwar Ali was a household name in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, remembered fondly for his memorable roles in hit dramas including Ababeel, Home Sweet Home, and Andhera Ujala. Despite his immense popularity, he stepped away from acting years ago to dedicate his life to religion.
The news of his death has cast a pall of grief over fans and colleagues, who are paying tribute to a versatile artist whose contributions left a lasting legacy in television, theatre, and film.
