Field Marshal Asim Munir’s Visit to Kartarpur Earns Sikhs’ Respect Worldwide

LAHORE: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, during his emergency visit to the flood-affected areas of Punjab including Sialkot, Shakargarh, Narowal, and Kartarpur, assured that all Sikh religious sites would be fully restored at the earliest.
In recognition of this commitment and the timely rescue operations, the Sikh community paid rich tribute to Field Marshal Asim Munir at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, stating that his swift actions saved thousands of lives.
Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs / President of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, speaking on behalf of the Sikh community, said that we wholeheartedly thank Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his timely rescue operations during the floods, as Pakistan Army soldiers stood firm until the last person was safely evacuated. “The bond between Pakistan and Sikhs is like that of a nail and flesh inseparable and everlasting.” The presence of Field Marshal Asim Munir among the Sikh community has raised the pride and honor of Sikhs across the world.
Ramesh Singh Arora further added that when the world learns that Field Marshal Asim Munir personally visited Kartarpur, it will further elevate the pride of Sikhs globally. He highlighted that Sikh pilgrims from around the world acknowledge Pakistan as the safest country for minorities, and when they return after visiting, they often shed tears of joy because of the unmatched love and respect they receive in Pakistan.
Other Sikh leaders also expressed their gratitude to Field Marshal Asim Munir, stating that what was done within 24 hours after the floods is beyond words.”
“We are deeply thankful for the restoration efforts at Kartarpur Sahib and the timely assistance provided to the people.” Sikhs around the globe bow their heads with respect and reverence towards Pakistan, which for us is truly a paradise. They reaffirmed that the love and solidarity of Sikhs worldwide will always remain with Pakistan, while the Pakistan Army’s selfless service continues to inspire greater trust and confidence among minorities.
