LAHORE-: Chairman of the Local Councils Association Punjab, Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry, called on Sindh Minister for Energy and Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, in Karachi.
The meeting focused on promoting economic activities in Sindh through modern energy projects and addressing challenges faced by the business, industrial, and trade community. Both sides also exchanged views on recent legislation regarding the establishment of local governments in Punjab.
Zahid Chaudhry, a prominent business leader from Vehari, has also served as Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). During the meeting, he highlighted the issues faced by Sindh’s business community, particularly those in Karachi.
Appreciating the effective and proactive role of Syed Nasir Hussain Shah in resolving business-related concerns, Zahid Chaudhry said that the Minister’s initiatives serve as a model for other elected representatives and cabinet members.
He was accompanied by Rana Imran-ul-Haq, President of Grain Market Vehari, and Ch. Faheem Aslam.
