The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced plans to create a documentary chronicling the remarkable 10-year journey of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), from its inception in 2016 to its milestone year in 2025.
The film will be crafted to meet international production standards, capturing the essence of the league’s triumphs, challenges, and significant achievements.

It will spotlight pivotal moments, such as the PSL’s transition from being hosted in Dubai to becoming a Pakistan-based spectacle, the hurdles faced in attracting international cricketers, and the resilience shown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The documentary will also underscore the PSL’s rise as one of the world’s premier cricket leagues, highlighting its growth, global impact, and contribution to Pakistan’s cricketing legacy.
To ensure top-tier quality, the PCB will soon invite proposals from skilled individuals and production companies, with the goal of engaging seasoned professionals to bring this vision to life.
The project aims to celebrate the league’s legacy while inspiring fans and stakeholders by showcasing its transformative journey. Next week, the PCB is expected to open the bidding process, seeking innovative and experienced teams to produce a film that reflects the PSL’s stature on the global stage.
