LAHORE – Students of Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, successfully completed their one-month internship program at the Lahore Investigation Headquarters.

Under the supervision of Inspector Muhammad Yousaf, the students underwent a comprehensive forensic training course, gaining hands-on experience in modern investigative techniques.
During the program, the students – Zuhha Faisal, Aziz Fatima, Muazma Ashraf, Areeba Saleem, Nuwaira Babar, and Bisma Aamir – were given practical exposure to the mortuary, fingerprint analysis, and crime scene units. They were also trained in evidence collection, investigation procedures, and the process of arresting suspects based on forensic findings.
SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed personally briefed the students, highlighting the importance of modern forensics and crime scene management in today’s policing. He stressed that such initiatives help the younger generation understand the realities of police work while preparing them to contribute to society.
“This program not only provides awareness but will also be helpful in the daily lives of these students,” SSP Naveed said, adding that forensic science has become an indispensable pillar of modern investigation.
At the end of the course, SSP Naveed distributed certificates of completion among the students, appreciating their dedication and keen interest in learning about law enforcement practices.
