LAHORE: The prompt response of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority Virtual Blood Bank saved the life of a young child suffering from kidney cancer.

According to details, a citizen from the Children’s Hospital Lahore called the Emergency Helpline 15 and reported that his child was under intensive care and urgently required blood. Acting swiftly, the Safe City officer initiated the search for a suitable donor through the Virtual Blood Bank database. In response, Dolphin Force Officer Raheel voluntarily donated blood on time, setting a shining example of humanity. Due to the timely provision of blood, the life of little Samsam, suffering from kidney cancer, was saved. The child’s father expressed heartfelt gratitude and joy over the immediate and effective action of Safe City, stating that Safe City has not only saved my son’s life but also won our hearts. He extended his prayers and best wishes to both the Authority and the donating officer. The Safe City spokesperson stated that in case of any medical emergency, citizens can call Helpline 15 and press option 4 to request blood immediately.
