LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Sports & Labour, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, along with MNA and President PML-N Lahore Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar, addressed a large public gathering held at Mansoorah Bazaar (also known as 80 Feet Road) and Union Council 109, marking the launch of several development schemes.

Speaking on the occasion, Faisal Ayub Khokhar announced that he had secured PKR 2.14 billion in development funds for his constituency — the largest-ever allocation for a single union council in history. He emphasized that these funds were made possible only during the tenure of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and are being utilized under her vision for sustainable development.
He further stated that nine major development projects are being initiated in UC 109, including upgrades to the sewerage system, construction and rehabilitation of roads, and street pavement works. Additionally, parks will be built at a cost of PKR 100 million. He added that under the PML-N government, roads, schools, colleges, and other basic facilities have consistently been delivered to the people.
The Provincial Minister highlighted that Maryam Nawaz has introduced a modern waste management system under the “Suthra Punjab” initiative, and labour colonies are being established across Punjab. Under the Dhee Rani program, 60,000 girls have been married off with government support. Soon, 1.24 million families in Punjab will be provided with ration cards, with the number increasing each year.
President PML-N Lahore, Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar, reaffirmed in his address that the core of their politics is public service. He vowed to transform Lahore into a modern city in line with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision, ensuring the completion of development projects in UC 109 as well as every other union council in the city. He stressed that construction of roads, schools, and hospitals remains a top priority and that there will be no shortage of funds to maintain the pace of development. He also announced plans for the establishment of a model bazaar to facilitate women.
Participants at the gathering expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and the PML-N leadership, pledging full support for their development agenda. A large number of local office bearers and residents were present at the event.
