LAHORE: Secretary Price Control and Commodities Management Department Punjab Dr. Ehsan Bhutta emphasized the importance of highlighting the sacrifices and struggles of our forefathers in the establishment of Pakistan, particularly among the youth.

He made these remarks while addressing students at a painting competition and inauguration of rare books on the independence movement at the Lahore Museum. He was addressing the students of various universities in the paintings competition for 14 August and inauguration of Old/unique books regarding independence movement here yesterday at Lahore Museum.
Director Lahore Museum Nabila Irfan, Deputy Directir Asim, PU Fine Arts department Dean Madam Sumera Javaid and students of colleges and universities of Gift University, Raffah, Punjab University, UCP and LUMS were present at this occasion.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Ehsan Bhutta highlighted the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the collective efforts of countless unsung heroes who fought for Pakistan’s creation. He urged the participants to uphold the principles of justice, equality, and freedom that they championed.
Their unwavering resolve, unshakeable conviction, and unrelenting passion for a sovereign homeland inspired a generation to strive for freedom. We remain eternally grateful for their bravery, perseverance and foresight and strive to uphold the principles of justice, equality, and freedom that they championed with such fervor. He also highlighted importance of history, culture, heritage and heroes and described about conservation of Poonch House and Sir Shadi lal buildings and invited them to visit 3 galleries depicting life struggle of Baghat Singh, Sir Shadi lal and Ghazi Ilm Din Shaheed.
