LAHORE — Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana has ordered a strict crackdown on individuals involved in aerial firing and one-wheeling, particularly those promoting such acts on social media.

Chairing a performance review meeting of Iqbal Town and Sadar Divisions, the CCPO directed enhanced security for Chinese nationals and other foreign residents and stressed swift resolution of public complaints within the given timeframe.
He commended the SHO of Muslim Town for dismantling a gambling network, announcing a reward, while expressing dissatisfaction with the DSP (Operations) Township Circle and ordering a letter of displeasure.
The CCPO warned that weak police testimony leading to acquittals in narcotics cases would result in departmental action, assigning the DSP Legal to monitor all related trials. He also called for greater public awareness to prevent burglary and motorcycle theft, instructing the use of police software systems Hotel Eye and Travel Eye to trace criminals.
The meeting was attended by senior police officials from both divisions.
