LAHORE: – important organizational meeting of the PML-N Punjab was held at the Model Town Party Secretariat, chaired by Punjab President Rana Sanaullah. All divisional coordinators and organizational officials attended the session, where opinions were sought regarding the upcoming by-elections and expected local body elections.

The officials expressed complete trust in the federal and Punjab governments and voiced satisfaction with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s performance. Rana Sanaullah noted that other provinces also appreciate her work and that her governance has boosted the party’s popularity in Punjab. He praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts to restore the country’s prestige and directed the immediate completion of organizational posts while preparations for local body elections continued.
It was shared that candidates for the Punjab by-elections will be announced soon after consultations with the leadership. Speaking to journalists, Uzma Bukhari said that Nawaz Sharif will decide ticket allocations, describing the by-election tickets as “hot cakes,” with fifteen candidates vying for each seat. She claimed the PTI has “fled the field” and is unable to find candidates to contest against the PML-N.
