LAHORE — Acting on the directions of DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza, special police teams of the Investigation Headquarters have successfully recovered 129 stolen, snatched, or lost mobile phones worth more than Rs 45 million through the E-Gadget app in just two weeks.
SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed handed over the recovered mobile phones to their rightful owners during a ceremony. The complainants, whose phones had been stolen, snatched, or lost in various incidents, expressed gratitude and praised the efforts of the SSP Investigation and his team.
According to SSP Muhammad Naveed, the E-Gadget app has so far helped recover 3,795 mobile phones worth over Rs 1 billion during the current year. He urged citizens to promptly report any criminal activity to the police to ensure swift action and recovery of stolen property.
He reaffirmed that protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the police’s top priority, and indiscriminate action against criminals will continue.
