NANKANA SAHIB – President of the Nankana Sahib Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sardar Mian Nadeem Jalandhar, has hailed the recent trade agreement between Pakistan and the United States as a historic milestone for the country’s economy.

He stated that the agreement would open new doors for foreign investment, create job opportunities, and give a major boost to Pakistan’s exports. Expressing particular satisfaction, he noted the reduction in US import duty from 29% to 19%, calling it a significant development that will enhance the competitiveness of Pakistani products in the American market.
Sardar Mian Nadeem also appreciated the discovery of new oil and gas reserves in Pakistan, terming it a promising step toward achieving energy self-sufficiency.
He urged the government to ensure that the implementation of trade agreements and energy projects is transparent, efficient, and conducted in close consultation with the business community to maximize national benefit.
