LAHORE – Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, paid glowing tribute to the fallen heroes of the police force in a heartfelt message on the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Day, observed on August 4.

“Those who laid down their lives in the line of duty are our pride and our honor,” he said, emphasizing the unmatched sacrifices made by brave officers who stood firm in the face of danger.
CCPO Kamyana highlighted that the history of Lahore Police is rich with courage and sacrifice, noting that 342 officers have laid down their lives for the safety and security of the nation.
He reaffirmed that Lahore Police remains the frontline defender of public life, property, and dignity, adding, “The memory of our martyrs will always live in our hearts.”
Calling it a day of renewed commitment, he assured the families of the martyrs that their sacrifices would never be forgotten. “Their heroism will always be remembered,” he said.
He also stressed the department’s continued focus on the welfare of martyrs’ families, stating that every possible measure is being taken to support them.
Concluding his message, CCPO Kamyana declared that every officer of Lahore Police is ready to lay down their life in the defense of the people, and he urged the nation to keep the martyrs in their prayers.
