Speaking on the occasion, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that he has brought development funds worth Rs. 2 billion for his constituency. He stated that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is fulfilling every promise she made and entrusted him, a humble party worker, with a ticket and the responsibility of a minister. He announced that every street in Niaz Baig would be paved and the area would witness unprecedented development.

He added that the construction of roads, schools, and colleges has always been made possible under the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-N. The children of Thokar Niaz Baig have received sports funds thanks to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Within just one year, 100 sports complexes have been built across Punjab, while a state-of-the-art sports complex worth Rs. 400 million has been constructed in Thokar Niaz Baig and a government school has been upgraded. He also highlighted the modern sanitation system and the exemplary “Clean Punjab” initiative launched under the current government.
“This is Maryam Nawaz’s Punjab,” he said, challenging opponents to show what they have done for the people. Labour colonies are being established across the province, and 1.24 million families will be provided ration cards — a number that will be increased each year. He reaffirmed that the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is driving development projects at full pace.
Addressing the gathering, MNA Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar said that when the PML-N took charge, the economy was in crisis, but today Pakistan’s economy is growing stronger. He said that Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan a nuclear power and stressed the need for leadership that can look the enemy in the eye and speak with courage.
“We are not the May 9th group, we are the May 28th group — the ones who conducted nuclear tests,” he said, pledging that all promises made during the election campaign will be fulfilled. He criticized the previous government, saying that during Imran Khan’s tenure there was nothing but political vendetta, whereas the PML-N has always focused on service and development.
He expressed gratitude to the people of Thokar Niaz Baig, who have honored him and his family since 2002. He praised Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz as “the courageous daughter of a courageous father.”
The gathering was attended by political and social leaders, local body representatives, and a large number of citizens. The public expressed great enthusiasm and appreciation for the announced development projects and paid rich tribute to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s leadership.
