LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, hosted a special luncheon in honor of the talented student, Bharati Kana Ram, who secured second position in the Bahawalpur Board examinations.

On her arrival at the Human Rights Department, Bharati was warmly received. The Provincial Minister symbolically seated her in his chair as a gesture of respect and presented her with a cash prize. The Human Rights Department also announced the award of a laptop, while the Minister further decided to include her in the department’s e-learning program.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Singh Arora said that “Students like Bharati are bringing the Chief Minister Punjab’s vision to reality. The success of students from government schools is indeed encouraging. He payed tribute to the Chief Minister Punjab for her efforts in promoting education, also congratulate the Punjab Minister for Education for the improved standards of government schools.
Expressing her views, Bharati Kana Ram said that aspire to pursue a Ph.D. and help my peers, especially girls, gain access to education. I am deeply grateful to the Punjab Government, and especially the Chief Minister Punjab, for their support and encouragement.” she added.
The luncheon was attended by Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights Sonia Asher, Secretary Human Rights Fareed Ahmad Tarar, Additional Secretary Rizwana Naveed, and other senior officials.
