LAHORE – The Textile Design Department of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) showcased its Degree Show 2025 at the Alhamra Art Gallery, Lahore, featuring a vibrant display of creativity and technical finesse.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, with Dean Prof. Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi and faculty members in attendance. The event highlighted a wide array of innovative textile design projects that reflected the hard work, artistic vision, and professionalism of the graduating students.
Renowned guest Razi Ahmed, Director of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), visited the show and expressed admiration for the students’ creativity and commitment to their craft.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi applauded the students and faculty for their remarkable efforts, acknowledging the department’s role in nurturing young talent. She engaged with parents during the event, congratulating them on their children’s accomplishments.
In a promising development, the Vice Chancellor announced that selected student projects will be pitched in an upcoming industry competition to explore business opportunities and foster professional collaborations for the graduates.
