Dr. Ehsan Bhutta visited the sites to review the progress of development work. He was briefed by General Manager of Sahulat Bazar Authority Roshan Zamir, Deputy Director Projects, and Consultant Malik Maqsood Ahmad.
During his visit, he inspected two sites in Gulshan Ravi and one in Shadman. He emphasized the need to ensure the quality of materials being used, such as pipes, foundations, brick ballast, and concrete. He directed that all construction materials, including concrete cylinders, should be tested through recognized laboratories like those at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET).
He also instructed the installation of bamboo bars around electricity poles for safety and suggested planting greenery at the Shadman site, which would not only improve aesthetics but also help neutralize odors.
Dr. Bhutta stated that he will visit the remaining sites next week and urged the concerned authorities to expedite the ongoing work.
