ISLAMABAD — The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Mr. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr, where both sides discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation, especially in trade, economy, and cultural exchange. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present during the meeting.

President Zardari warmly welcomed the ambassador and said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share deep-rooted, historic ties built on a common faith and mutual trust. He emphasized the importance of expanding these relations for the shared benefit of both nations.
He also highlighted Pakistan’s investor-friendly environment and invited Saudi investors to explore diverse opportunities in Pakistan’s growing economy. The President noted that both countries hold similar views on regional and international matters and continue to support each other on global platforms.
President Zardari expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Kingdom for its consistent support during challenging times. He also requested the ambassador to convey his warm regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
