LAHORE — In line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, conducted a detailed hearing of complaints received at his office on Friday, ensuring prompt redressal of public grievances related to police investigations.

During the session, the DIG listened attentively to the complainants and issued immediate directives on the spot. He ordered inquiries into several complaints related to flawed investigations and marked some cases to the Change of Investigation Board due to substandard investigation practices. Show-cause notices were also issued to the relevant investigating officers.
In addition, divisional SPs Investigation were instructed to resolve several matters without delay. The DIG personally contacted divisional SPs via phone and issued directions regarding ongoing investigations in relevant cases.
“Public grievances regarding police investigations are being addressed on a priority basis,” said DIG Syed Zeeshan Raza. He reiterated that protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the top priority of the Lahore Police.
He further emphasized that police officers must treat visiting citizens with respect and enhance their performance. “My office doors are always open to the public for the resolution of their issues,” he stated.
