LAHORE: A special training session for teachers was organized by the Unique Group of Institutions, attended by Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, as the chief guest. Chairman of Unique Group Abdul Mannan Khurram, Chairman of Sahara Group Abrar-ul-Haq, faculty members and a large number of teachers were also present at the event.

In his address, Minister Ramesh Singh Arora lauded the educational contributions of the Unique Group, stating that it was a matter of pride that over 83,000 students are receiving quality education under the group’s banner.
He further appreciated the initiative of teacher training under Performing Arts, calling it a commendable and forward-thinking step.
“Pakistan is a multicultural country where various languages, religions and cultures flourish in harmony,” said Arora.
“The participation of Christian students and teachers at Unique is a testament to the institution’s commitment to national unity and interfaith harmony. The Christian community’s services in the fields of education and health are unforgettable.”
The minister also highlighted the Punjab government’s focus on digital learning, said that Government of Punjab have launched e-learning initiatives across the province while the special coaching classes for students are also being introduced. Teacher training is the foundation of a bright future for our nation.
Chairman of the Unique Group, Abdul Mannan Khurram, also addressed the audience. He emphasized the vital role of teachers in society, saying that “Teachers are the architects of the nation. Today’s educator is not just a subject instructor but a mentor, a guiding light, and a builder of minds.”
He added that the Unique Group is moving forward with transparency and innovation in the education sector, with a particular focus on character building:
“We aim to nurture students who are not only academically strong but also exemplary in terms of ethics, social behavior, and cultural understanding.”
At the conclusion of the event, certificates of appreciation were distributed to participating teachers, while renowned playwright Haseeb Pasha and others were also honored with commemorative shields.
