LAHORE– In a significant move aimed at boosting the performance of Lahore Police, a total of 137 constables have been promoted to the rank of Head Constable. The promotions were approved following a thorough review by the Lahore Police Promotion Board, which was chaired by DIG (Administration) Imran Kishwar. SSP (Discipline) Muhammad Kashif Aslam and SP (Headquarters) Munazza Karamat were also part of the board’s deliberations.

The newly promoted officials from various wings of Lahore Police, reflecting the department’s commitment to professional development across all units. Specifically, 123 constables from the C-1 Wing and 14 from the C-2 Wing have been elevated to the Head Constable position. The promotions span across multiple divisions, including Operations, Investigation and Security highlighting the department’s focus on strengthening all areas of police work.
Among the notable individuals promoted are Sajad Ali, Asim Ali, Muhammad Azeem, Shan Ali, Babar Ali, Faisal Bashir, Mohsin Sardar, Waseem Abbas, Rehman Gul, Kabir Ahmed, Abdullah, Muhammad Manzoor, Muhammad Ayub, Nazim Ali, Muhammad Amir, Liaqat Ali and Mumtaz Ali. These officials have served in various capacities and are now tasked with taking on greater responsibilities in their new roles.
CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana extended his heartfelt congratulations to the promoted personnel and expressed his confidence in their abilities to perform even better in their new roles. “Timely promotion is a fundamental right for every police employee,” he said. “These promotions will not only enhance individual performance but also contribute to the overall efficiency of Lahore Police.” He further encouraged the promoted personnel to approach their new responsibilities with renewed dedication and enthusiasm.
DIG Imran Kishwar urging the promoted personnel to excel in their professional duties and contribute significantly to the timely delivery of justice to the public. “The challenges in policing today require officials to be more dedicated and vigilant than ever before,” he stated. “I encourage all promoted personnel to embrace their new roles with a heightened sense of responsibility and to complete mandatory training courses for further career growth,” he concluded.
