Buraq Tractors, a rising name in Pakistan’s agricultural machinery sector, celebrated the launch of its latest tractor models at a grand ceremony yesterday, drawing attention to its contributions to local farming.
The event featured prominent speakers, including Buraq’s Managing Director M. Waseem Yousaf, Exports and Marketing Head Saqib Naeem, and Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, as the chief guest.

M. Waseem Yousaf highlighted the company’s achievements, stating, “Buraq Tractors has seen exponential growth by delivering reliable, affordable machinery to Pakistani farmers. Our vision is to enhance agricultural productivity while expanding our footprint globally.”
He emphasized Buraq’s commitment to innovation, noting that the new models, including the 85HP and 100HP variants launched in June 2024, address shortcomings of competitors and are priced competitively.
Saqib Naeem spoke on the company’s market success, saying, “Our tractors are designed with Pakistani farmers in mind, offering durability and fuel efficiency for diverse terrains. Exports to countries like Tanzania showcase our global potential.”
He added that Buraq’s focus on after-sales service and OEM-quality parts ensures long-term reliability, benefiting rural farmers in Punjab and Sindh.
Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain praised Buraq’s impact, stating, “It’s heartening to see Pakistani companies like Buraq driving agricultural progress. Their machinery strengthens our farmers, vital to our economy.”
He highlighted government support through initiatives like the Green Tractor Scheme 2024 to promote mechanization.
The event underscored Buraq’s role in advancing Pakistan’s agriculture, with its locally manufactured tractors gaining popularity for their robustness and affordability.
