LAHORE: The Azad Group held an important meeting today under the chairmanship of its Patron-in-Chief Mian Nawaz, where key leadership changes were announced in the absence of Group Chairman Tariq Siddiq due to health concerns.

During the meeting, Sayed Salman Ali was appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Azad Group. Salman Ali, who is also an active member of the Executive Committee of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), will serve as acting chairman until further notice.
Additionally, Sayed Safeer Shah was appointed as the Senior Vice President of the group in the same session.
The meeting was attended by Founding Chairman Raja Hassan Akhtar, former Chairman Sayed Salman Ali, President Muhammad Yasin, Executive Committee members Mian Imran Asghar, Sayed Safeer Shah, Malik Muhammad Nasir, and Secretary General Muhammad Umair.
The leadership of the Azad Group expressed confidence that these decisions would enhance the group’s operational effectiveness and strengthen internal coordination.
