LAHORE: Lahore Police continues its active crackdown on electricity theft, providing full support to relevant departments in the ongoing campaign against power thieves, said CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana.

According to the Lahore Police spokesman, 109 suspects involved in electricity theft were arrested and 320 cases were registered during the first week of July.
He further stated that, so far this year, 17,544 suspects have been apprehended and 13,804 cases have been registered against them.
CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana emphasized that the police are fully cooperating with concerned departments in the anti-theft drive and are operating under a zero-tolerance policy.
He directed officials to accelerate the crackdown and instructed that prosecution of electricity theft cases be completed swiftly with the legal assistance of prosecutors.
