Ramesh Singh will attend the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for British Sikhs

LAHORE: Punjab’s Minister for Minority Affairs, Ramesh Singh Arora, has arrived in the United Kingdom on an official visit. He will be attending the 20th anniversary celebration of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for British Sikhs, being held at the British Parliament in London.

This significant event, marking two decades of APPG’s dedicated service, will take place in Committee Room 14 of the UK Parliament and will be led by APPG Chairman, MP Jas Athwal. The gathering will bring together Members of Parliament, international delegates, community leaders, and prominent British Sikh representatives.
The APPG has been actively working for over twenty years to safeguard Sikh rights, promote representation, advocate for justice, and support human rights initiatives both in the UK and globally.
During his visit, Minister Ramesh Singh Arora will also meet with Sikh leaders residing in the UK and brief them on Pakistan’s efforts to preserve Sikh heritage, promote religious tourism, and strengthen interfaith harmony. While the purpose of his visit is to foster global engagement with the Sikh diaspora and to encourage younger generations to explore their cultural and spiritual roots in Pakistan.
