LAHORE: SP Investigation Model Town Division, Moazzam Ali, briefed media representatives today in a press conference at his office, highlighting significant breakthroughs in multiple blind murder cases, made possible under the special directives of DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza.

In a major development, the Investigation Police of Sunder have arrested a woman and her paramour for the cold-blooded murder of her husband, Manzoor Ahmad.
According to SP Moazzam Ali, the woman was involved in an illicit relationship with the co-accused. Together, they plotted and executed Manzoor Ahmad’s murder by shooting him. After committing the heinous crime, the suspects fled the scene but were eventually apprehended through tireless police efforts.
In another success, the Investigation Police of Green Town arrested four suspects, including a couple, for the kidnapping and brutal murder of a citizen named Imran.
SP Investigation stated that the motive behind the crime was a financial dispute. The accused abducted Imran and transported him to a deserted location in Sargodha, where they tortured him to death using wooden clubs. After the murder, the body was buried in a pit to conceal the crime. Upon the suspects’ identification, the police recovered Imran’s body from the burial site.
In a third major operation, the Investigation Police of Satu Katla apprehended four suspects involved in the double murder of a father and son.
According to SP Moazzam Ali, the primary suspect’s sister had a love marriage with the complainant, which the accused strongly resented. Driven by vengeance, the accused carried out indiscriminate firing, killing the complainant’s father and brother.
The arrests were made using a combination of modern technology and human intelligence.
SP Moazzam Ali emphasized that no leniency will be shown towards criminal elements. All arrested individuals will be prosecuted according to the law to ensure they receive due punishment.
“These arrests reflect our commitment to justice. The Investigation Wing is determined to protect innocent lives and uphold the rule of law,” he concluded.
